As I said yesterday, I have been spending a lot of time in front of my computer lately. I worked with a local graphic designer to update the way my patterns look on the cover… and developed back covers so that I could start printing my patterns. After going through the graphic work, I formatted my first pattern to go to print. Yesterday, the first batch of test prints came in, and I am so excited!
Overall, I am very happy with the quality of these printed booklets, and I guess this means I will be working on formatting more of my patterns for print in this manner.
I have learned a lot along the way. Like where and how to purchase UPC codes. Hey, you never know what you are going to need to learn, right?
Now that this big milestone is out of the way, I am looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Yvonne, these look really great! My daughter is a graphic designer so I appreciate the time and work that went in to making them.
Your booklets look amazing!! I went to your Etsy store to see if you had these hardcopies available for purchase and saw your inspiration behind creating this pattern. Like you, even the smallest amount of time at my sewing machine brings me great inner peace.
They look absolutely perfect! I know who I’l be emailing should I ever get to this step, lol – those UPC codes, whatttt?
That is a stunning pattern, Yvonne. Glad your work with the designer has paid off.
Your printed patterns look great!! Congrats!
Congratulations Yvonne, they look fantastic!
I had never even THOUGHT about UPC codes! My sister handles all of the pattern formatting for me so I’m blissfully in the dark about a lot of the formatting nuances. 🙂
pretty cool! Good luck as you expand your line!
So Exciting Yvvone!!

Yeah!!! They look great and so professional. Keep up all the good work. I flip flop back and forth about booklet format vs the traditional loose sheets. Can I ask where you had them printed? Im working on a new pattern but it will be a while yet before it’s ready to publish.

They look great! I would love to print some of mine in the future but don’t even know where to start!
