Life Balance
Since returning home from QuiltCon, my husband and I have had many long conversations. I am going to be working toward a slight re-balancing of my time, which will equate to less time on the computer / internet in the evenings for me. I don’t know that there will be many large changes, but the vigorous posting schedule I have kept for the past year might slow a bit. I just want to make sure that my husband and family are clear that they are my number one priority in life. <3
There are lots of great things in store this year! I look forward to seeing how this year continues to evolve for all of us.
Yvonne, I always enjoy hearing from you. Don’t worry about posting less often, hey, it’s quality, not quantity, that’s important!
Good luck Yvonne, I know you’ll find the schedule that works for you. I find it incredibly hard to balance sewing, blogging, and life. Your readers will be here – like Barbara says, it’s quality not quantity and the quality of your posts keep me coming back again and again. 🙂
I agree with Barbara. It’s quality not quantity that counts for me as well.
It’s so easy to spend too much time on the computer! Balancing life is never easy, but you’ll figure it out. I wish I could join the New Quilt Blogger Hop again…it was so fun and I learned so much. I encourage everyone who has not participated to do so!
Looking forward to another Blog Hop with the three of you incredible ladies! Family time is such an important part of life and it is very easy to get caught up in the technology available today. Have a fantastic creative day!
Balance is always a worthy (and sometimes difficult) goal. I wish you the best!!! Sounds like you have some great things planned.
I’m sure it will be just as great a year for your blog even with a slightly less vigorous posting schedule, you are so well established that coming down to speed walk pace rather than out and out sprinting is not going to be any kind of issue and hopefully you’re in it for the marathon here not a 100m! You clearly have an incredibly special family and relationship which very much need to come first.
Balance is the most important thing in life. It seems like it’s always a struggle to get it just right.
I can’t wait to see your block 🙂
Both hops sound like they’ll be really fun to see take shape.
It’s really great that you are working on keeping your life balanced Yvonne. I wish you the best!
I’m looking forward to seeing the blocks during the hop! Life balance is such a tricky thing…just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, it’s time to change it again 🙂
I agree with the others, quality is more important than quantity and family is more important than any of it!
Looking forward to the blog hop!
Let us know when you find the secret to balance! It’s a struggle.
As I sit watching tv with my husband and blog reading in my phone I can sympathise with this! We do tend to over complicate our lives don’t we ?
Forgot to add , the new bloggers quilt hop was great fun last year . I should start blogging from fresh with a pseudonym
