As can happen sometimes, what I had planned to do this past weekend (start quilting my Midnight Mystery quilt) did not happen. Instead, late on Friday night I realized it was the first Friday of the month and so I turned on my sewing machine and participated in the fun #FridayNightSewAlong on Instagram. I started by gate crashing the Stash Bee again and making a block for my friend Ruth @Charly & Ben’s Crafty Corner (she’s the hive mama for Stash Bee Hive 4 this month).

Then I pieced together 3 #miniminiquiltswap tops, and I spent the rest of the weekend finishing the 3 mini mini quilts up.
Mini Mini Quilts – 4.25 inches square

Mini Mini Quilts – Backs
I used the Tula Pink Eden print on the back of the 2 similar (mirror image) mini mini quilts for the quilting pattern. Recently, Daisy @Ants to Sugar had some great tips for how to use the backing fabric as a guide for your quilting that I used to my advantage when I put these together.
I also made a mini mini quilt that I have not shared here on my blog yet that I might as well include, too!
North / South Mini Mini Quilt
I named this one North / South because the unquilted squares are lined up like the end of horse shoe magnets, can you see it?

North / South is backed in Kona Baby Blue, bound in Kona Oasis, and pieced with C + S, pearl bracelets, and Alison Glass bike path.

One last look at the fun texture and poof on the North / South mini mini quilt. 🙂 The best thing about all of these projects is that I worked from my scrap bin. I didn’t make a bit dint in the bin, but everything came from there!
