The discussion topic last week of the #HonestCraftRoomies was “Favorite Designer”. I have some fabric designers that I really enjoy, but I felt more compelled to learn and watch what everyone else is passionate about, and boy, they did not disappoint. It was fun to see such enthusiasm and excitement in people’s voices. As I suspected, Kitty @Night Quilter talked about her love for Alison Glass and Carolyn Friedlander. The day after her talk, Alison Glass posted on Insagram that she was having a 15% off sale in her shop. “I’ll just take a look,” I thought. These beautiful bundles arrived on Saturday. 🙂

Sunday Stash Mercury
I have used Mercury before, but I really wanted to get the full range of colors. This is a fat quarter bundle.

Sunday Stash Chambray
And this is a beautiful half yard bundle of coordinating Andover Chambray. I have set the two bundles aside and I think I will try to come up with a design just for this rainbow grouping.
Linking up with Sunday Stash to see if anyone else had a weak moment recently.
Looking forward to seeing more of these, that rainbow bundle looks especially gorgeous!
Both bundles are gorgeous, but that Chambray one – wow!
both are very pretty, but I love love love love the Alison Glass one!!!
Wow. I didn’t know Mercury came in all of those colors. I’ve resisted so far but I have a feeling I’ll be buying some in the future. AH, chambray is so lovely!
Yvonne, your new fabrics are lovely. I look forward to seeing what you do create with them. Yes, I have had several weak moments recently. Since we are on such a tight budget, hubby and I like to do garage sales. Just last week we went to an estate sale and we both picked up several different items. Then while I was visiting with one of the hosts of the sale, we began talking fabrics and charity projects. She went through every square foot of the house and proceeded to fill the entire back seat and trunk of our car with any item that she thought Project Linus could use. It was amazing and so very special. At another garage sale, hubby bought me a Featherweight Singer treadle for me as a surprise birthday present. It is so beautiful and will be cherished forever. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful creative day!
Oooh that lime-y and teal chambray are really iridescent. I am slowing coming to the other side when it comes to the chambray / Oakshott camp. I have never used it before, but I’ve finally been thinking about it at least!
I can just feel that chambray from here. Nothing softer—-and such gorgeous colors!
Love both bundles of fabric, but that Mercury fabric is definitely your style!
Ooh! I love those chambray fabrics.
