  1. Your bee blocks are just lovely, Ive never dipped my toe in too joining a bee, I always hum and har and then its too late its full, confidence in my skills is another deterrent hahahaah Maybe one day I will surprise myself 🙂

  2. I put myself in the traditional category by mistake as I know how to needleturn applique and am not really into asymmetry and negative space. I ended up in a hive of lovely ladies with very different fabric tastes from mine. Whoops! My mistake! I hope this question is made idiot proof for new people joining. 🙂

The new form has a two part question for just this reason! 🙂

Great post Yvonne . You signing up again for next year ?

  4. I’ve often thought about joining but never do. Are tutorials provided for the block requested? Or do you have to figure it out yourself?

Thanks for sharing this post. I hadn’t thought about the Stash Bee before, but I will check it out. Sounds like great fun.

  6. I’ve really loved being a part of stash bee. It’s definitely stretched my comfort zone and I’ve gotten to try new techniques and met some really fun quilters in the process.

I’ve often seen posts about bee blocks but this is the first time I’ve seen a post that tells me how to sign up. Thanks Yvonne.

Great post, Yvonne. I have been seriously contemplating joining a bee. The thought of being exposed to making so many different blocks is appealing – especially when you only have to make one 🙂 I’ll be giving this some serious thought over the next couple of weeks, thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for sharing this info Yvonne! I love the idea of joining a bee but have never managed to get the timing right for sign ups. This sounds like a fun one, I’ll keep it on my radar for sure!

Thanks for the tip off! I just signed up for the first time 🙂 Hannah

Your bee blocks for the year look great, I especially like some of the early ones I’d forgotten about, so lovely to see them altogether like this.
