Cuts of Cotton - Pearl Bracelet Sale
Quilts

Sunday Stash {10/4/2015}

I received the last of my latest fabric orders yesterday, and I am definitely looking forward to the new projects that these represent. This first grouping of fabrics, which I picked up from Cuts of Cotton, are totally indulgent, though.

Cuts of Cotton - Pearl Bracelet Sale

Cuts of Cotton – Pearl Bracelet Sale (L to R): Poppy, Tulip, Metallic Gold, Grass, Pond, Larkspur, Tangerine, Taupe Pearl, Shadow

When Lee @Freshly Pieced mentioned that Cuts of Cotton had a large sale (40% off of pearl bracelets), I thought, I’ll go take a look. And I ended up buying 9 half-yard cuts of pearl bracelets alone. I think they are going to be a great addition to my stash. That green alone is a shade of green that I typically look for and can’t find on my shelf.

I also picked up half yard cuts of Minimalista | Script | Watermelon, Prisma Elements | Larimar Sea, and Downtown | Dotten Ovals | Purple. Whew!

Pellon 906

Pellon 906

A bolt of Pellon 906 arrived, so I will start thinking about the TShirt quilt that I accepted on commission. My first thought is, “one bolt of the fusible is not going to be enough!” We’ll see if that winds up being true.

Top to Bottom: Kona Bahama Blue, Oasis, Ruby

This grouping of 3 Kona solids (bahama blue, oasis, and ruby) is going to turn into a quilt that I am very excited about. I sketched out the design on my recent vacation and can’t wait to start putting it together and telling you more about it!

Kona Nautical and Snow

And to round out the recent solids purchases, I also picked up more Kona Nautical and Snow.

I have a lot of great projects to work on, so I might prepare with a nice long nap this afternoon. 😉

  1. Love the strong, saturated colors. I used about 17 yards on my most recent project. Unfortunately, even though I have a smallish stash, that much usage didn’t really affect it. MUST. QUILT. MORE…

  2. You have purchased some lovely fabrics! I am looking forward to seeing all of your projects. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful creative day.

    that was a great order, I love pearl bracelets, had it in yellow and grey. And plain fabric is essential, like buying milk, bread and washing powder (except everybody buys washing powder liquid now)
