A few weeks ago, I noticed that Stash Fabrics was carrying all 303 Kona Cotton solids. I have been dreaming up another transparency quilt design that I want to make, so I made an order and love how the grouping blends together in person.
Blues: Lake, Niagara, Water, Malibu, Pacific
It is no secret that I love blue, but this particular design is inspired by the water. I didn’t realize it until I started typing up this post, but all the fabric names seem related to the water, too. It was meant to be!! I can’t wait to put these together into a delicious quilt.

So pretty, and I’m struck with the irony of this post’s timing. On Friday, I looked around on the internet for a list of Kona blues in ombre fashion as I had plans for a baby quilt. I couldn’t find what I needed, and I scrapped my idea and went with blue log cabins. TODAY, you’ve posted this gorgeous list! I’m going to take it as a sign that the log cabins were the right project to choose for this baby quilt, but I still think it’s rather funny. 🙂 I’m excited to see your next project!
