I am so thankful for the warm reception my Triangle Transparency quilt and pattern have received this week. I think it is safe to say that the Triangle Transparency quilt is my favorite quilt that I have made to date. (It is also the quilt that needed a small repair that I discussed a few weeks ago.)
I am also very grateful to everyone who has and is making blocks for my friends. I have received blocks from 13 people around the world, and I was able to put together a map to share the awesome power of community with the family.
What are YOU thankful for this week? Here’s how to link up (link up open for 48 hours on Thursday and Friday US Pacific time):
- Link up any blog post the past week that discusses something that you are thankful for, no matter how big or small (Did you win a giveaway? Did your seam ripper save the day? Did a friend do something simple and kind that made your day?).
- To link an Instagram photo, click the Instagram icon at the bottom of the link-up screen, and use the URL of your IG feed as the link (for example, my URL is http://www.instagram.com/quiltingjetgirl). Please hashtag #QuiltyThankfulThursday.
- If you are linking to a blog post, please link back here to my blog somewhere in your post.
- Comment on at least a few of the other Thankful Thursday links, either IG or blog—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!

I’m glad to hear your pattern has been well received! All those quilt blocks look great together so far! I noticed you now have three Ls…you could write several words or names.
L.O.V.E. how your design wall is looking!! The blocks look great 🙂 And I am so happy your pattern has been well received – it totally deserves it!!
Your Triangle Transparency quilt is beautiful. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how your design walls for the two quilts are looking. Thanks for including map of the world community pinpointing where all of the blocks have come from. Beautiful work from a beautiful person!
I’m so sorry that I haven’t had the time to make a block for these quilts! Time is my frenemy lately, and I’m trying not to let it make me too anxious. Maybe now that I’ve said this I will find a few minutes this weekend. Hooray for your pattern launch!
Yay for such a supportive group! ALL of the pieces look amazing and they are both going to be some amazing quilts as well wrapped with SOOO much love! I absolutely am loving this! You should be receiving mine soon!
I’ve got 2 blocks done for you and ready to go, both on the sea theme (surprise, surprise!) but I’m feeling slightly worried because I’m really not sure they’re going to fit in with your other blocks there, I won’t be offended if you leave mine out!
