Whoa Nelly!!

whoa nelly

I have had a blog post every day since January 22nd. That’s a lot of blog posts, and it isn’t sustainable! I have been super fortunate to be so busy with quilting related topics, but things are slowing down and I need to spend a bit less time in front of my computer. I still plan to be pretty darn active, but I’ll be taking a day off here and there. PleaseΒ stay tuned; I have a big reveal coming up in a week. I hope you’ll check it out!

  1. I don’t know how you do it?!! Good to take a little break now and then πŸ™‚

Blogging is so time consuming for me–several hours required for all steps, that once a week is ok and twice a week is good. I spend my best sewing time blogging on those days. So I think most of us totally understand and support you taking a couple of days off from blogging every week πŸ˜‰

While I was reading your blog the other day I realized you’ve been extremely prolific and I’m often jealous of all the time you must be putting into both your quilting and blogging. But I know it’s hard work and it does take a lot of time and I’m glad you’ve come to recognize what is and isn’t sustainable for you. Can’t wait to see the big reveal this week! I’ve got one myself too πŸ™‚

  4. Quite an achievement, Yvonne! Such a streak is impressive! I’m pretty pleased with myself if I manage a post a week, let alone a day! πŸ™‚

  5. I don’t know how you do it in the first place. Wait, maybe I do – it’s that amazing schedule that you’re able to keep. I still think about that blog post and want to come up with a routine/schedule that I can keep to that still works around my son’s schedule. A girl can dream. In the meantime, take care of you and post when you can. We’ll still be here.

  6. If i can post more than twice in a week, it’s a miracle. Even if you slow down, you’ll still be amazing!

It is always good to prioritize. We will enjoy your posts whenever you post them. πŸ™‚

  8. Enjoy those breaks! I seem to have dwindled down to one post a week…and that’s not even sewing related πŸ™‚ I’m trying to get back to a more regular blogging schedule, but it’s slow going so far.

  9. I have no idea how you kept up with it this long! Enjoy some more time at the sewing machine – its much more fun than the computer πŸ™‚

I have been in awe of your prolific posting, but sounds like it’s time to slow down a bit! Enjoy your ‘odd days off’, you have definitely earned them.

  11. You are amazing in all you do, Yvonne. I’m glad you’re listening to that little voice inside that’s telling you to take a break, even if that break is just lightening the load a tad. You deserve it.

  12. I am amazed at the amount of quilting and blogging you are able to do. Take a break when you need to, make sure that you are still having fun πŸ™‚

  13. I wish I could get a quarter done of what you do πŸ™‚ Look forward to your reveal!

Enjoy a bit more time away from the screen, definitely important.

  15. I cannot READ a blog post every day, let alone write one. Go wild, take weeks off at a time! You will have far more sewing time. πŸ™‚

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
