Not only was it exciting to meet online quilting friends at QuiltCon, but it was a pleasure to meet Alyssa of Pile O’Fabric in her vendor booth as well! You might recall that I won a curated fat quarter bundle from Pile O’Fabric earlier this year that I used to make my Racetrack quilt. I wanted to introduce myself to Alyssa and thank her in person. While I was in her booth, I could not help but notice more of Alyssa’s beautifully curated bundles, and I did not resist the urge to pick up 2 separate half yard sets.
I have a very limited selection of pinks and purples in my stash. When I was drawn to the plummy bundle I thought it would help challenge me to use colors I would normally not select.

I also picked up the lovely Sea Glass bundle. I have ideas bouncing around in my head to use these two bundles together to create a quilt…

Plumb and Sea glass are beautiful fabrics, hope to see how you use them.
Congratulations on 300!
I bought a bundle of greens from her, but if I’d seen those teals I would have gotten them too!
Congrats on 300!! Oh, those are some purty bundles and they would look spectacular together!
Oh man, I love that plum bundle. But then, I bet that’s not surprising! 🙂
Both bundles are beautiful, I really love the pink and purple, but those are my favorite colors. I can’t wait to see what you do with these!!!
Love the seaglass bundle! Very pretty.
I bought the exact same bundles! I love her bundles.
Love that sea glass bundle – predictably with a name like that!
You totally bought bundles of my two all time favorite colors!! I can’t wait to see the quilt you make with these–it is bound to be stunning since the colors are just SO fabulous. Seriously, I couldn’t have chosen better fabric myself!
Oh what a lovely plummy bundle! Love those colors 🙂 and Alyssa makes great bundles. She has great sense of color.
Okay, I am Blind! Just add some oranges, lol.
Those are two lovely bundles, and half-yards are such a useful size.
