Winter Wonderland
Linky Party, Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday #8

I am thankful for snow. We haven’t had any snow in my town this winter (we used to get 6-8 small snows a year, but we have only had 1 in the past 2 winters). I was able to travel with my husband last week up into the mountains to enjoy a fresh snowfall.

What are YOU thankful for this week? Here’s how to link up:

  1. Link up any blog post the past week that discusses something that you are thankful for, no matter how big or small (Did you win a giveaway? Did your seam ripper save the day? Did a friend do something simple and kind that made your day?).
  2. To link an Instagram photo, click the Instagram icon at the bottom of the link-up screen, and use the URL of your IG feed as the link (for example, my URL is http://www.instagram.com/quiltingjetgirl). Please hashtag #ThankfulThursday.
  3. If you are linking to a blog post, please link back here to my blog somewhere in your post.
  4. Comment on at least a few of the other Thankful Thursday links, either IG or blog—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!

Looks like you had a blast. I’m wishing for a little snow, but am thankful for a little warm weather. Kind of contradictory, huh?

  2. Anne Beier says:

I am grateful for the good health of our family. Hoping it always stays that way.

I am also thankful you recommended “The Four Agreements.” I’m enjoying this book a lot.

  4. Vera says:

I’m thankful for catching up with my email replies and for feeling all better today 🙂

  5. Even though most people in my city (or even my house!) wouldn’t agree with us, I too am thankful for snow. And for having a warm, safe home to be in as the storm rages outside my window tonight!

We have a TON of snow, but your photos are absolutely stunning! Even with hip-deep drifts and a tunnel-path to our front door, I am still grateful for snow, too. I’m also being redundant, but I’m so grateful for our online quilting community, and excited that I will get to meet you in a couple of weeks!

  7. I’d be thankful to if I could only go drive to be in it just like I did in California, I don’t like living in it though! I do like one good snow fall, but after that… it’s done. We haven’t had much snow in Kansas City either so you would be out of luck here!

  8. Looks like you had so much fun in all that fabulous snow! I’m thankful I have a sister who understands me and makes me laugh out loud – a lot!!

I really appreciate the time and thought you take to comment, and I look forward to conversing with you. :)
