This week is really flying by; I thought today was going to be Wednesday (oops), so I did not set up to have my Thankful Thursday post publish quite on time this week. I am leaving the linky party open a bit longer this week to compensate for that. 🙂
Today, I am super thankful for my cozy bed and bedroom. I am so thankful that I can drift off to sleep easily and that my bed is comfortable and covered in quilts (we currently sleep under 3 quilts during the cooler winter weather).
What are YOU thankful for this week? Here’s how to link up:
- Link up any blog post the past week that discusses something that you are thankful for, no matter how big or small (Did you win a giveaway? Did your seam ripper save the day? Did a friend do something simple and kind that made your day?).
- To link an Instagram photo, click the Instagram icon at the bottom of the link-up screen, and use the URL of your IG feed as the link (for example, my URL is http://www.instagram.com/quiltingjetgirl). Please hashtag #ThankfulThursday.
- If you are linking to a blog post, please link back here to my blog somewhere in your post.
- Comment on at least a few of the other Thankful Thursday links, either IG or blog—commenting on the two or three links directly before yours works well to make sure everyone gets comments!

Wow! Your bedroom is beautiful! I love that blue paint with the white and yellow accents from the quilt.
Beautiful bedroom, I love the blue!
I’m also envious of your nice, neat, light-filled, and *clean* bedroom! I blame it on having kids, though I know the problem lies deeper, but my bedroom is a bit of a mess. I linked up for the first time, and might try linking up posts from other days of the week in the future, since my Thursdays are always Color Inspiration posts. Then again, I’m ALWAYS grateful that I see and notice color the way that I do. Some people don’t even notice when something is SO aesthetically AWESOME. And some people can’t see. I may be deaf one day (sooner than later, sadly), but I’m grateful I can still see. I can be a colorful quilter without hearing, but without seeing I’d be toast! (or a pincushion)
Maybe it is so cold because the window is open? 😉 I have two quilts on my side of the bed, even though we keep the room at 60 overnight. When Matt is out of town I throw on a third.
I am not at all surprised to see a blue bedroom. It looks so calm and beautiful, especially with that awesome quilt on your bed.
We had a bad ice storm on Sunday. I am grateful my husband and I were both not scheduled for work and did not have to drive in it, because it was a big mess. And we got to spend a nice day home together. It’s hard when you don’t have the same days off as your spouse, except occasionally. Lots to be grateful for Sunday.
That blue on those walls and perfectly made bed, I also dream of having a canopy bed! So crisp and perfect and the light coming in would be lovely to nap to! That quilt fits perfectly in your room as well! I know I am thankful for my bed! haha
Blue is such a great bedroom colour. Restful. I had to force myself to paint ours a different colour as until this house I had painted all of the master bedrooms blue in the homes I had owned. It was time for a (reluctant) change.
