I pieced together this quilt top in 1995 with help from my mother and my paternal grandmother hand quilted it in 1996. I used it 1997-1999 as a quilt during my freshman and sophomore years in college. The pattern is the Winning Hand “Quilt-in-a-Day” pattern by Eleanor Burns. This was the last quilt that my grandmother worked on before she passed away in 1999.
